That Can't Be Happening at Our Schools!
Diabetes Forecast, v49 n2 p61-62,64-66 Feb 1996
A survey of 263 parents of children with diabetes found that 33% felt their schools were doing a good job, with the remaining parents reporting a variety of problems related to poor management of the child's diabetes. Negative and positive comments concerning actions by school personnel are provided, focusing on diabetes management, lunch and snacks, participation, and sick days. (DB)
