Older Men's and Women's Relationships with Adult Kin: How Equitable Are They?
Peterson, Candida C.; Peterson, James L.
International Journal of Aging and Human Development, v27 n3 p221-31 1988
Sought global assessments of marital equitability from 62 older adults, and compared men's and women's global equity feelings concerning their relationships with spouses, aged parents, and adult children. Forty younger adults rated equity of their marriages and relationships with parents and grandparents. Majority of both generations' involvements with all categories of immediate adult kin were seen as globally equitable. (Author/NB)
