Scores on the College Opinion Survey (COS) were related to high school rank (HSR), first quarter grades (GPA), MSAT scores, and scores on the Academic Achievement Scale of the SVIB (A Ach). COS scores were significantly related to past performance (HSR) but self made predictions did not increase multiple correlation predictions of GPA beyond that obtained with MSAT, HSR, and AAch.
