Mission Graduation, a student military and veteran organization, is designed to meet the needs of military service students, veterans, and their families enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College. Mission Graduation, funded by a grant, brings awareness to the student veteran organization, provides transition programming and ongoing assistance, and develops best practices for advising military students, veterans, and their families so they can achieve their academic goals. Key activities in the timeline that were part of Mission Graduation initiatives, criteria used in measuring success of the Mission Graduation initiatives, and the several lessons learned to replicate this graduation initiative are presented.
