Proposes an application of an educative approach to behavioral parent training packages. Differences between the educative approach and behavioral parent training packages are discussed. Overviews of general techniques used in each strategy are provided. Issues surrounding an integration of the components of each approach are highlighted and addressed and a case study is provided.
