Hashima, Patricia Y.; Finkelhor, David
Journal of Interpersonal Violence, v14 n8 p799-820 Aug 1999
Study compared rates of violent victimization of youth aged 12 to 17 to that of adults, using the National Crime Victimization Survey. Results showed that juveniles were more likely than adults to be victims of violent crime and suffer from a crime-related injury. Disparities were present for males and females, Whites and Blacks, and persons from different type of localities. (Author/MKA)
