Examined reluctance by men to seek help as related to traditional gender role socialization and effect of offering counseling interventions congruent with that socialization. Findings from 435 males revealed that predictors of positive attitudes toward traditional counseling included comparatively high social scores on personality measure. Predictors of negative attitudes toward personal counseling included high scores on masculinity measures. (Author/NB)
