Responds to previous article by Fry (1992) on social theories of aging. Notes that Fry provides gerocounselor with good overview of social gerontology theories of aging. Presents case study that provides anecdotal support that socioenvironmental framework can be flexible structuring for gerocounseling. Criticizes Fry for giving impression that geropsychology therapy resources are lacking, contending that such resources do exist. (NB)
