Compared pre- and post-semester counseling interviews of 13 trained graduate student counselors and 13 graduate students in a no-treatment control condition. Found trained graduate student counselors decreased use of assessment intention and question response mode and increased use of explore intention and minimal encouragers response mode when compared to control graduate students.
