A study of the acceptability of a U.S. pharmacy degree in meeting academic requirements for licensure in Canada, France, Mexico, the Philippines, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, India, Nigeria, Egypt, and Austria suggests that citizenship, reciprocal recognition, and retraining requirements and program divergences will reduce transferability of American degrees.
