Feelings of Well-Being Before and After an Abortion.
Hittner, Amy
American Mental Health Counselors Association Journal, v9 n2 p98-104 Apr 1987
Examined feelings of well-being in 217 women who had abortions. Results suggest that, compared to women who have not had abortions, those who choose abortion feel more negatively. Of women choosing abortion, those who are already mothers are most likely to be depressed and lonely, followed by those from lower educational and socioeconomic backgrounds. (Author/NB)
