Drop-out among Inuit students is associated with muddled role perceptions, lack of acceptable role models, and the absence of values consensus. In order to overcome the problem, priority must be given to the total education of the Inuit, from preschool Inuktitut programs, through on-the-job training of adults. (Author/EB)
