The department of automotive mechanics at Central Carolina Technical Institute has constructed its curriculum so that, if a student is compelled to stop school before completion of requirements, he has still learned marketable skills. In addition, individual interests are encouraged through a Special Problems" course during a student's final quarter and through meetings after graduation with visiting specialists. (JO)
