Based on the premise that the school is an environment where systematic instruction, creative work and community interaction occurs, a program that provides for individualized instruction in science is described. Ten different learning environments are provided for the students. Instructional programs are individually chosen, self-administered, self-scheduled, self-tested and feed-back revised. The role of the teacher is discussed. (LC)
