Minnesota Principals Academy: 2-Year Follow-Up Survey of 2015-17 Cohorts

Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement
The Minnesota Principals Academy (MPA) is an executive development program that provides ongoing professional development to Minnesota's school leaders by connecting theory to practice. The program is housed in the University of Minnesota's Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development in the College of Education and Human Development, with financial support provided by the Minnesota Legislature and participants' school districts. This report describes the results of a survey designed to better understand how participation in the MPA is impacting alumni participants' practices in their schools and districts two years after their participation in the program. The survey was administered in Spring 2019 to two cohorts of participants--the Northwest Cohort and the Twin Cities Cohort--who began the program in 2015 and completed the program in June 2017.
