This guide explains the results and other information contained in the "Test Item Analysis Report," the "Test Item Report Summary," the "School Report," and the "District Report" for the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) tests of spring 2002.The report contains these sections: (1) "Document Purpose"; (2) "Reporting of the 2002 MCAS Test Results"; (3) "General Guidelines for the Interpretation and Use of MCAS Reports"; (4) "Understanding the 'Test Item Analysis Report' and 'Test Item Analysis Report Summary'"; and (5) "Understanding the 'School" and 'District' Reports."
