This report provides an overview of the continuing development and use of the computer-assisted career guidance systems at Oakland University during the sixth year of operation of the Adult Career Counseling Center (ACCC). The following topics are discussed: (1) history of the development of the ACCC and computer-assisted career guidance programs; (2) description of the ACCC; (3) description of the computer-assisted career guidance systems, including DISCOVER for adults, System of Interactive Guidance and Information Plus, Michigan Occupational Information System, and the Resume Kit; (4) client demographic information; (5) client evaluations of ACCC and computer programs, including ACCC services and personnel, DISCOVER Evaluation, and DISCOVER End-of-Module Evaluations; (6) in-service training; (7) public relations; (8) coordination with practicum counseling center; (9) research; and (10) future plans. The appendix includes the Adult Career Counseling Center Resource List, Career Counseling and Information Resources at Oakland University, and Auxiliary Grant-Supported Services. (ABL)
