Volume 2 comprises the appendices to the study reported in Volume 1. The following textual material is presented: (1) background material for the first regional meeting on reference referral in the state of California; (2) minutes and participation lists from the seven focus group meetings held from March 27 through April 23, 1986; (3) summaries of the regional meetings held in Cerritos on May 28, 1986, and in Oakland on May 30, 1986, including agenda, models, general summary of ranked functions, list of trade-offs, and participation lists; (4) sample survey questionnaires concerning Current Reference Center/BARC/SCAN (Parts 1-3) and Host/Potential Hosts (Parts 1 and 2); (5) a list of key meetings and key materials; and (6) selected press coverage.
