This handbook is designed to help users of radioactive materials to handle the radioactive material without exposing themselves or others to radiation doses in excess of maximum permissible limits. Safety in the handling of radioactive materials in research and practical situations where the quantity of materials handled is not great is stressed. Radioactive waste disposal is also discussed.
