This bibliography is primarily concerned with the application of psychology in the schools. Its purpose is to provide a current list of references to accompany the book of readings entitled Perspectives on School Psychology. It was not until the 1960's that a body of knowledge for school psychology could be identified. The new journals, Journal of School Psychology and Psychology in the Schools, offered the major thrust in acquiring a reservoir of literature in this area. Except for Ferguson and Smith's (1963) very brief bibliographical listing no other bibliography has been published during this decade. And prior to the 1960's, Bindman's (1964) bibliography served as a reference for a loosely conceived notion of school psychology. This bibliography is presented as an alphabetical listing in three major areas: books, journal articles, and pamphlets or bulletins from state departments of education. (Author)
