These curriculum materials correlate the subject matter of English with that of construction trades by incorporating the vocabulary, terminology, concepts, and skills of construction trades into the academic area of eleventh grade English. The five units deal with attitudes, career development and oral composition, letter writing and job application, paragraphing, and speaking and listening. Each unit includes an overview, course objectives, student activities, instructional materials, evaluative materials, and a bibliography which also includes a list of equipment, films, and other supplies.
