Sustained ventricular tachyarrythmias are uncommon in young people, and underlying heart disease is usually present. This article presents a case study of a 24-year-old male athlete with arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia and points out the value of combinations of drugs versus the use of a single agent.
