The Basics of Blended Instruction
Tucker, Catlin R.
Educational Leadership, v70 n6 p57-60 Mar 2013

Blended learning, with its mix of technology and traditional face-to-face instruction, is a great approach. Blended learning combines classroom learning with online learning, in which students can, in part, control the time, pace, and place of their learning. Many talented teachers, both new and experienced, are finding themselves increasingly empowered by--and excited to use--technology. This article provides five tips that will help teachers broaden their use of technology and ease into blended learning.
