The Rural Families Program Makes a Difference.

Rural outreach workers delivered a stress prevention and early intervention education on a one-on-one basis to strengthen families and communities over 6-9 weeks. Pre/posttest data from 934 cases revealed that the program benefited participants in the areas of decision making, communication, financial management, parenting, family relationships, and crisis management.
