Examined the qualities college students valued or disliked in their professors and whether they varied by student or professor gender. Students picked their best and worst professors, described their qualities, and rated their gender-linked personality traits. Gender factors operated more strongly in considerations of best versus worst professors. They also affected descriptions of best professors' characteristics. (SM)
