Journal of Children in Contemporary Society, v20 n3-4 p195-203 1989
Effects on participants in the Adoptive Grandparent Program (AGP) of the Dade County (Florida) Public Schools were studied. As part of a program evaluation of the AGP, selected fifth and sixth grade students and nursing home residents were surveyed. Intergenerational contact positively influenced participants' self-esteem, mood, and intergenerational attitudes. (AF)
