Energy Utilization and Environmental Health: Methods for Prediction and Evaluation of Impact on Human Health.
Wadden, Richard A., Ed.
A variety of socio-economic criteria are suggested for the choice of how best to utilize energy resources. One of the most significant of these criteria is the prediction and evaluation of existing and potential human health effects of recovery and usage of various energy resources. Suggestions are made for incorporation of these methods in site planning for power production facilities and in devising pollution control strategies. Evaluation of general environmental impact of various methods of power production is discussed in the context of decisions made during planning processes. (RE)
