Guzman, Nadyne
Journal of Educational Administration, v35 n5 p439-50 1997
Describes a multiple case analysis of six elementary school principals considered to be successful leaders of inclusive schools. Each principal established an open communication system, was actively involved in developing individualized educational plans, personally conversed with parents of disabled students, collaborated with staff on inclusion and discipline policies, pursued professional development activities, and demonstrated good data-gathering and problem-solving skills.
