This final report presents examples of activities conducted to address the objectives focused on in the 1979-80 Upper Arlington Career Education program. It first presents a list of the twelve objectives for three specified levels: (1) grades K-6--motivation (2 objectives), (2) grades 7-8--orientation (2 objectives), (3) grades 9-10--exploration (4 objectives), and (4) district-wide (4 objectives). Charts then describe objectives addressed, activities, evaluation, and results as well as defining components and populations. A brief statistical report is also provided. A summative evaluation summarizes the career exploration program established between the Upper Arlington Schools and First Community Village retirement center, Jones Village. It includes a description of the program, excerpts from student journals, a copy of the attitude measurement used for pre- and post-testing student participants, and a report of evaluation results. Appendixes, amounting to over one-half of the report, include the Career Life Planner Folder for grades 7-10 and A Report on Elementary School Children's Needs as Perceived by Parents, Students, Teachers in Targeted Elementary Schools (Upper Arlington City Schools).
