Module synopses and resource lists are provided for eight adult basic education modules on authentic Blue Ridge Mountain crafts, each designed to utilize basic skills and develop avocational or vocational skills (see Note). Included are explanations of the skills incorporated in each module and a resource list, including local people and businesses. Module titles and Fry readability levels, are as follows: Apple Dolls (2.5), Braided Rugs (4.5), Candles (3.0), Caning (3.5), Corn Shuck Dolls (2.5), Pottery (3.6), Quilting (3.5), and Weaving (3.5).
