Reece, Gwendolyn J.
Journal of Academic Librarianship, v31 n4 p366-372 Jul 2005
This article analyzes a multicultural library exhibit presenting the Palestinian/Israeli conflict as a site of contested representation. Qualitative methodology is used to interrogate the exhibit and its audience reception. Drawing on insights from critical pedagogy, implications for libraries arising from this case study are given and suggestions are made for transforming controversy into educative situations.
