The purpose of a curriculum project was to identify selected areas in which modules needed to be c developed for Pennsylvania's vocational programs for the occupation of home-health assistant, and to develop a minimum of three modules for field testing. By reviewing current literature and information, the area of need for curriculum materials for the Home-Health Management Assistant Programs were defined. The three instructional modules were written according to a module format developed by the project staff in accordance with curriculum design principles accepted by the State Department of Home Economics Education. Areas covered by the modules included nutrition, nutrition for the elderly, and home nursing for the elderly. Following background information on the project, this report discusses the development of each module, including module format and module content. Major content consists of the project's three developed modules. Each module includes introductory information on use of the module and from three to four learning experiences. Each learning experience includes some or all of the following: concept, generalizations, terminal objective, instructional objective, learning activities, and information sheets. (BL)
