Instructional objectives of a three-year Latin program are stated in this curriculum guide. An individualized approach to instruction which takes into account the nature of the school, the means of fulfilling its objectives, organizational structure of the course, provision for individual differences, and the type of pupil progress required is recommended. An outline of the program illustrates the course goals in terms of: (1) audiolingual objectives, (2) the teaching of basic structures, (3) reading, (4) writing, (5) culture, (6) evaluation, and (7) instructional media.
