Teaching Technology--It Couldn't Get Any Better!
Moye, Johnny J.
Technology Teacher, v67 n4 p22-26 Dec 2007-Jan 2008
Teaching technology is awesome! The author very rarely uses the word awesome, but there are few words in the English language that can convey the author's feelings concerning his teaching experience. Before becoming a technology teacher, the author served 27+ years in the US Navy. He graduated from Old Dominion University with a Virginia teaching license for technology education in 2003. He began a full-time teaching job in August 2003, which is when his teaching adventure began. In this article, the author shares the highs and lows of his teaching experiences during the past four years, provides points that new teachers should take into consideration, and explains why he feels teaching technology is awesome.
