The performance of three language impaired children is compared on tone identification and tone sequencing tasks by P. Barone and D. Thal. C. Royster-Branker and D. Bernstein evaluate two language disordered children and their comprehension of indirect directives. A paper by I. Paderewski and M. Mazor uses the acoustic reflex thresholds for pure tones and white noise to predict the degree of hearing loss in eight children with sensoryneural loss. H. Lasky and R. Rosenbaum investigate the development of conversational skills in a language impaired child through television modeling. Imitation vs. comprehension training is the subject of a final study by S.
