In the third and final report of a series designed to develop unit time and costs for the major operations of the Technical Services Division of the Tucson Public Library, the Acquisitions Unit's activities are analyzed by means of self-recorded daily logs. Ordering, accounting, and receiving are performed in this area, and those functions are detailed both in narrative form and a series of tables. Selection costs are not included in this report. A summary of unit costs is presented in which single and multiple copy ordering variations are used as examples. (Author)
