A Gendered Look at Educational Reform.

Investigates women teachers' involvement in educational reform from a gendered perspective. Interviews with secondary school teachers show how women teachers' beliefs and actions toward reform efforts were significantly influenced by their gender identity. When an educational reform became identified as a women's program and risked losing the support of men teachers, women teachers were less likely to embrace the reform. (SM)
