Activities to do before camp include writing proverbs, tongue twisters, riddles, poems, and stories. Activities to do on the way to camp include singing songs and reading a map. The words to the following songs are provided: De Colores, Guantanamera (Young Girl from Guantanamo), This Land Is Your Land, Diez Elephantes, and The Ants Go Marching. Activities to do at camp include writing in a diary about a favorite place, a best friend, things most liked about camp, things learned about the stars, trees, plants, and insects, best liked tree and animal, the worst and best times at camp, and favorite songs. Activities to do after camp include legends (e.g., Moon God of the Mayas) and patterns for making the Moon God of the Mayas and the Water God, Tlaloc, from construction paper.
