This report presents the results of a systematic study and evaluation of the existing educational plants of the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS), along with a determination of future plant needs. Section 1 contains an introduction to the educational plant survey, including statutory foundations, procedural policies, and cooperative processes. Section 2 provides an overview of the IFAS, while Section 3 contains an analysis of the student population, including planned enrollments and enrollment trends. Section 4 reviews the academic programs of the university as related to the IFAS. Section 5, the bulk of the report, contains an inventory of existing sites and buildings. Section 6 presents plans for housing programs, students, personnel, and services in the coming years, while section 7 analyzes capital outlay finances. Section 8 contains recommendations for educational plants at the main campus and at the Austin Cary Forest site, as well as university-wide standard recommendations. (MDM)
