Recruiters from 20 firms representing engineering, financial services, retailing, and sales reviewed student prescreening materials and provided lists of students for interviews. Comparison of students selected for interviews and students not selected suggests discrimination against Asians and a strong reliance on academic achievement in determining applicants selected for interviews.
