Immunology & Human Health.
Dawson, Jeffrey R.; And Others
This monograph was designed for the high school biology curriculum. The first section reviews the major areas of importance in immunology. Section three contains six instructional activities for the high school classroom and the second section contains teacher's materials for those activities. The activities address for students some of the major concepts of immunology. They relate those concepts to lives of students to show how advances in immunology impinge directly or indirectly on their own health, on the health of the community at large, and in the case of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, on public policy and perceptions of normality.
