Agricultural education graduates' postsecondary educational attainment was investigated through a secondary analysis of data in the National Longitudinal Study, High School Class of 1971. Although participation in agricultural education had no substantive effect on postsecondary educational attainment, the effect of background variables should be taken into account when analyzing the results of graduates' subsequent achievement.
