Seeing No Evil in Their Anti-Affirmative Action Campaign but Plenty of It in Multiculturalism.
Roach, Ronald
Black Issues in Higher Education, v14 n23 p18-20 Jan 8 1998
The December 1997 conference of the National Association of Scholars reflected the association's opposition to both affirmative action policy in higher education and multiculturalism. Much of the discussion on racial preference focused on the academic performance of African Americans in relation to other racial and ethnic groups. Multiculturalism was characterized as a threat to academic freedom and the liberal arts. (MSE)
