Motivational Needs of Students Enrolled in Agricultural Education Programs in Georgia.

Agricultural education students in Georgia (n=1,952) were mostly motivated by achievement need. Future Farmers of America members had greater needs for achievement, affiliation, and power; females had higher affiliation and power needs; and African Americans had higher achievement and power needs. Differences in age and urban/rural settings were also found. (SK)
