Kinesthetic exercises in the choral rehearsal strengthen vocal technique and musicianship skills and enhance artistic expression. This approach helps all types of learners because it focuses attention and promotes active learning. Most people learn best when they experience new ideas using more than one sense. They also tend to remember concepts they experience kinesthetically. To help students, teachers can present information in myriad ways so that each type of learner finds the information meaningful.
