Everglades Environmental Study Units.

These environmental study units consist of four modules and a tape-slide presentation on the Everglades National Park. Although not required for completion of the modules, the slide-tape presentation provides a resource for orientation of teachers and parents to camping experience for school children in an environmental education program. The four written modules are: (1) "Ready, Set, Go" - A Planning Module for Principals Who Want to Know How to Plan an Everglade Camping Experience for Their Students; (2) "Care of Equipment" - A Module for Teachers and Students Who Want to Know How to Set Up and Take Care of Their Camping Equipment; (3) "Safety in the Outdoor Classroom" - A Guide on the Rules, Regulations, and Safety Procedures to be Followed During the Camping Experience; and, (4) "One Hundred Environmental Resources for Use in the Classroom or in the Field."
