Uses the Addiction Severity Index and Stage of Change Readiness and Treatment Eagerness Scale to evaluate individuals with primary alcohol-abuse problems involved in treatment programs. Results indicate that participants showed significant improvement in problems related to alcohol use. No significant differences were found between participants grouped into stages of readiness.
