Aduloju, M. O.; Obinne, A. D. E.
African Higher Education Review, v9 n1-2 p44-49 Sep 2015
This study examined the assessment of chemistry teachers' effectiveness by chemistry students. A survey research design was used. Two hundred students were sampled for the study from Benue State. The result showed that students agreed that their teachers cover a large part of the syllabus before the examination. Findings also revealed that there was a significant difference in the opinion of students on their teachers' effectiveness. It was recommended that students should be involved in the assessment of their teachers for promotion and for guidance.
