National priorities shifted in the 1960's from goods-producing to service -producing activities. Employment demands, which have adapted to this shift, are already influencing the occupational choices of students. A projection of employment demands in terms of national social goals forecasts a need for the adaptation of instructional methods and curricula to social priorities. (WM)
