Returning Nurses to the Workforce: Developing an Online Refresher Course.

Online refresher courses were designed for geographically isolated nurses returning to work. Course design incorporated principles of effective distance education: humanizing the learning environment, engaging participants, using the right message, and eliciting feedback.
